Forged Pistons posses superior strength at higher
operating temperatures & provide denser air / fuel charge
CHARACTERISTICS:
Forged Pistons improve flame travel & combustion efficiency,
reduces oil temp, prevents carbon buildup. Ships with gudgeon
pins, rings, cir clips.
COMMENTS:
The high quality of BPM forged pistons is well known throughout
the motorsport community. HPC's TBC process prevents excessive
heat from reaching piston rings reducing radial tension
loss. The BPM piston skirts have a smaller area to reduce
frictional losses & have a grain structure for increased
strength. The piston mass exerts less force on conrod thus
aiding higher boost levels.
